excellent system. install only took a few hours

over all I was very pleased with this dish. everything went according to the installation instructions. the only problem came when I tried to get the tv on. What they don't tell you is that you need to re-program your receiver if you are using a receiver that you already own. If your not familiar with this process you will need help. I called Winegard on Saturday morning and all lines were busy. Big surprise. I left my call back info and to my surprise got a call within 30 minutes. the person I spoke with was very pleasant and had me up and running in about 10 minutes or less. love the system. works great but they should include instructions on setting up your receiver. Enjoy yours!!

Replaced my SD version of this unit with the HD version. Same mount holes, same size wiring bundle, & really fast delivery by Dyers ( second day but only paid for standard ground). Unit works well and the Winegard product support was excellent on my only enquires.

Great product but poorly packaged for shipping

After all is said and done, this seems like a fine product. I used this to replace an old King Dome antenna after I had upgraded my CRT TVs with LCD HD TVs.
Unfortunately, Winegard does not package this unit well enough for mishandling during shipping. Mine was shipped directly from Winegard's warehouse in Southern California and it was dropped off at the house on it's side. Opening the box up I found the relector damaged, as I'm sure many others who have ordered this antenna have found. The packaging was clearly meant for the unit to be shipped on it's bottom with nothing stacked on top. I'd give it five stars if the shipping packaging had been better designed.
Of course none of this was Dyer's fault and Dyer's was extremely helpful in connecting me with Winegard to get a replacement reflector ordered. And to Winegard's credit, they were very responsive in replacing the damaged part. Just to be sure that nothing else was damaged, I tested the antenna out before I took it up onto the RV roof. Getting it up there was the hardest part of the installation as it was heavy for my 70 year old body. Otherwise, no issues installing it.
