Winegard Trav'ler Dish 1000/Bell TV Turbo HD
With many more satellites and much more programming available, satellite TV viewing is changing. The Winegard® TRAV’LER™ automatic multi-satellite viewing antennas offer the best performance in the market. Ever wonder why you don’t see dome satellite antennas on homes? The simple answer is they don’t meet performance specifications and requirements for DISH Network™ or DIRECTV®. Technologically, with the new TRAV’LER™ automatic multi-satellite antenna series, RVers can now get all the same great advantages of the latest home satellite systems with NO extra switches, HD converters, etc.
TRAV’LER™ antennas are built on a completely re-engineered mechanical platform for a rigid reliable mount. This provides a stable base for uninterrupted signal acquisition and allows the dish to endure strong winds and withstand adverse weather conditions.

This is a great unit and yes I installed it myself
Review byDave
This works great with a hopper3 on my 2016 Tiffin Phaeton. I got all info to install it from a iTunes posts
Best price I could find. Super easy to operate. No more spending hours fiddling with trying to set up a portable dish only to have partial coverage. I will say do your homework on selecting a receiver. Won’t work with a Hopper 3. You need a 722k if you want to have dvr capability (and who wouldn’t). You can find refurbished ones on the net but are rare in local Dish business providers.
I installed this in my o6' Tiffin Phaeton and it works really will. I'm using it with my Dish Hopper that I bring from the house. I like it being able to find the right satellites without having to have a receiver hooked up. The only downside was trying to stow the extra 25' of control cable that came with it.
Dyers offered a very competitive price and fast delivery time. We full-time in a 2014 Tiffin Allegro 31SA and had the unit shipped to us in Maine so that we would have it available for installation when we arrived in Elkhart Indiana. Installation was completed in 3.5 hours and the Trav'ler worked right from the start with our existing Dish VIP 211K receiver.
Great product and the best price I could find, with free shipping

I have Dish and have an older satellite system on my RV and needed to upgrade. Reviews for the Trav'ler 1000 Dish system were very positive so I decided to buy one. I searched all the normal sites and this time Dyers was the cheapest by far, and they offered free shipping and because of location, no tax. I also found the same unit at Amazon offered by Dyers (as a vendor) but the price was higher, and shipping was extra. So naturally I ordered direct from Dyers and it was exactly as promised, only it showed up fast! Would definitely order it again and from Dyers.
Product works great, Have had King dome with nothing but problems. This system was easy to install and use, Dyers had the best price and fast shipping. I highly recommend.
I ordered the SK100 and it was delivered in 3 days. The phone contact at Dyers was the best .I would recommend Dyers very highly. The best company that I have ever delt with five stars +++++++++++++++++++++++++.Thank you for your great service.
Actually I'm not real happy (sic) with the Winegard SX-1000.
Review byJ Mike
-Actually I'm not real happy (sic) with this unit. I had a single head KVH in-motion and replaced it with the Winegard SX-1000. The KVH would take 30-45 minutes to set up and the Winegard locks in in about 3 minutes. Bottom line is, I end up with more honey-do time.
-I also have to forget about my 3 am wake-up calls when Dish does their re-setting and the KVH goes on the hunt (quite noisy). The Winegard does nothing. Now I have to go find an alarm clock if I want to get up at 3.
-We also have 2 receivers, and with the KVH unit, one receiver controls the satellite and the other receiver is the slave to it. I can switch coax cables and make the bedroom the master, then again it takes time to do this, which leave more honey-do time. I love it when I'm deeply engrossed in a movie in one room of our coach and my wife turns the front TV on to her soaps. Of coarse, it's on a different satellite. Again I end up with more honey-do time.
-So from a wife's viewpoint, there are some advantages to using an inferior unit, but not me.
-The SX-1000 works as advertised and I would deal with your company again and again..
Dyers matched competitive price, delivered as expected and the product is excellent
Review byMike
I ordered the unit from Dyers on a Thursday and it was delivered on the next Monday. The phone contact at Dyers was very professional and customer service oriented. This is the third satellite receiver I have personally installed on my Country Coach motor home and clearly is the most efficient. The Dish 1000 replaced a Winegard dome Move n View which would require frustrating multiple resets taking up to 2 hours to find 119 and did not work well with the newer DISH receivers. Once I unpacked the Dish 1000 unit and read the instructions, the installation took approx. 2 hours. Once laid out on the roof, assembled, and in the proper location to operate, I marked holes, used marine silicone to seal, screwed the unit down, ran cables through the existing roof access hole, plugged all cables into my DISH VIP 612 DVR and Traveler Controller, tested, and resealed all roof fittings. All features on the VIP 612 DVR work perfectly and the Dish 1000 locks in on 110, 119 and 129 within minutes. I paid $1217.99 including shipping, no tax, for my Dish 1000 through Dyers. Another internet company offered the unit for approx. $40 less but after reading the negative reviews of the company, I found comfort paying the extra $40 in dealing with a reputable company like Dyers. I was not disappointed.
