Description / Winegard Support Mounting Plate

A Must Have if you purchase a Winegard Trav'ler

This product is a MUST HAVE if you purchase the Winegard Trav'ler DirecTV Slimline Satellite Dish. It mounts easy and makes mounting the Trav'ler a simple process. Just use plenty of lap sealant. I mounted this and the Trav'ler on the rear area on the roof of a 272RLIS Forest River Salem Hemisphere. If you purchase this product you do "NOT" need the "Winegard Roller Wear Plate". I agree with other reviewers that this product is priced way to high however as mentioned it is a must.

Don't try to install without it

If installing the Trav'ler by Winegard definitely use this mounting plate on any roof you may have. the installation becomes an easy affair so don't try to install without it.

If you mounting this on a rubber roof RV I would highly recommend this plate even though I think its overprice for a sheet of painted aluminum, but it makes the install easier and gives more support for those thin RV roofs.
