Well we're new to the satellite world and decided to go straight to the top. Got our sat. service then wired the coach and from all the research regarding satellite dishes, domes etc., it was this little Carryout GM1518 that won - in our minds, hands down. For never having satellite TV before, we had it set up and running within 15 minutes. The only problem we ran into was prepping the second receiver in the bedroom. The antenna has two ports for two separate receivers or one dual. Since the primary output port (main TV) controls the toggle function (between110, 119 or 129), we found that we couldn't do a check switch through the secondary output port. It was just a matter of hooking the cable from the main output on the dome to the bedroom input receptacle, run the check switch (so that receiver can find all satellites), than switch the cable wires back so the primary is leading to the main TV, which is most likely the one watched most often.
Dyersonline had the best price, reasonable shipping charges and quick delivery time. And when I contacted them with a question, they promptly responded. They'll have our business in the future :)

Set up was easy. Follow the directions in order. Had to change internal switches to DishNetwork. You should get a good cable and lock if you leave it out, could be real easy to steal with only two connectors to take off and walk away with it. Does have a place on the base to secure a cable to a tree, picnic table or RV. Get a compass to find your line of sight.

I just recieved mine yesterday from Dyers RV 8/20/2010. It was a snap to setup in 15 min and ready to use. With almost no delay when changing channels requireing a change to another satellite for program. This is about as easy to use as it gets. My hat is off to Winegard they have hit a grand slam home run with this unit! No more hassle setting up my old lnb dish. I will get started making my detachable 8ft. swing up rv toung stand I plan to use on my camper easy to swing up and lockable so we don't worry about theft when we are off fishing or sight seeing. If anyone is thinking about buying the Winegard 1518 carry out I highly recommend it! A truely 5 star sat. reciever!
