There is always something to watch whether you watch the news over your morning coffee, follow your favorite home team or want to put cartoons on for your kids. Winegard has made the X1 fully automatic portable satellite for the RVer who wants to have the best of both worlds!
The Winegard Pathway X1 is designed, built and tested in the USA. The X1 is a stationary satellite devoted to Dish network. If you do not have Dish network service, no problem! The X1 is compatible with DISH networks pay-as-you-go programming. There are no contracts and no commitments—simply pay for the months you are going to use and enjoy uninterrupted service.
This ultra-sleek, compact antenna not only looks great, it searches and locks onto the satellite faster than other antennas so you can start enjoying your programming in just minutes. The X1 is fully automatic and can find the western arcs on its own, you pick the state location and the X1 does the rest. DISH western hemisphere satellites are 110°, 119°, and 129°.
Lightweight and slimmer than most satellites with a built-in easy grip handle the Winegard X1 portable satellite weighs 10 pounds and is a breeze to set-up.
Another great new feature offered for the Winegard X1 is the coax cable that works by powering your satellite through the receiver. No more fiddling with a converter or power cord because the auxiliary cable is the power cord! Plug into the receiver and you are ready to go. Winegard includes a 25’ auxiliary cable to give you enough room to move the X1.
Do you have the household dilemma of who gets to watch what because there is only one TV in the RV? The X1 is for you! Two receivers can be hooked up which means you can enjoy TV in one room and the kids can watch TV in another room. View any program on either TV as long as the programs are on the same satellite.
High Definition gives a crisp clear picture, if you want HD programming you can have it. Keep in mind that in order to receive HD programming, you must have an HDTV as well as an activated HD receiver with an HD programming package (sold separately).
Pair up your Pathway X1 antenna with a Dish solo HD receiver like a DISH 211k, 211, 411, and 211z. The X1 antenna must be used with a DISH Solo HD receiver.
Do you want a roof mounted X1 antenna, but do not want to pay the high price for one? Mount the X1 to your roof with the Model RK-2000 roof mount kit (sold separately) and your problem is solved. You never have to worry about setting up a tripod again. The Pathway X1 is also compatible with the TR-1518 tripod if you do not want to permanently install your X1 satellite antenna.
When you are watching a game and want to rewind to replay a touchdown you need a DVR. DVRs allow you to pause live TV and rewind if you missed a scene. A DVR receiver is not available at this time, but DISH Solo HD model receivers 211k and 211z can support an external hard drive for DVR recording (sold separately).There is a one-time activation fee that needs to be paid to Dish network for the DVR function (contact Dish network for details).
Portable satellites like the X1 can be susceptible to theft. A satellite is a big investment that you want to protect, the X1 antenna comes with an eyelet that is attached to the base so you can secure your satellite to something sturdy with a lock to keep it safe.
The Winegard Pathway X1 comes with a 2 Years Parts, 1 Year Labor warranty from Winegard. Winegard also offers complimentary telephone and email support online if you run into technical problems.

No instructions, but YouTube has helpful videos. My slide now works and sounds better than it did. Apparently this is engineered poorly. Hoping they have corrected that.

Installed with roof mount kit and it was a snap! Our coach was pre-wired so all I had to do was put a connector on the roof and we were good to go. Setup was simple and we have been enjoying Dish while we travel. Also like the pay as you go plan!
