Used a By-Pass Plate for 2 years.

I have used a By-Pass Plate for 2 years in my motor home. It keeps the RV antifreeze out of the filter holder just like it was designed. The first year I useded a soda bottle to take up some of the space. I was very happy when I found the plate for sale.

Would probably work if larger diameter.

Proceed with caution if you're thinking about this item. It is too small in diameter (~3 11/16") to seal off my filter, and it now sits on a shelf in my garage until I can figure out if there's anything else I can use it for.
