My trailer dealer install another model that was controlled with a wheel and was very touchy to set either braking to hard or not hard enough. I bought the P3 and what a dream to set. Stopping was effortless with not pull or push. Driving through the Rocky Mountains was a dream, on 2 or 3 occations I had to use the override for incressed braking and through some down hill curves a flat lander isn't use to. With the other model I am sure the trailer brakes would have locked up, the P3 took me around the curves with just enough brake power to keep me calm without ever feeling paniced.
