Suburban Water Heater Gas Valve Solenoid Kit

Suburban Direct Spark Ignition RV water heaters. SF and SFQ Model Furnaces are equipped with a dual solenoid gas control valve. These valves are currently supplied to Suburban by two separate vendors; White Rodgers and Seven Universe. The solenoids used on these valves will be available as a separate replacement solenoid kit. These kits will be available as warranty replacement parts and for general stocking purposes. Seven Universe Corporate Logo is printed on the Part I.D. label located on the front of the solenoids metal cover as well as being embossed onto the top of the valve body. The Solenoids are installed to be arranged in an outward position to the valve body.

** NOTE: A White Rodgers Solenoid kit can not be installed onto a Seven Universe gas valve and a Seven Universe solenoid kit can not be used on a White Rodgers gas valve. Proper identification of the gas valve by its manufacturer is of vital importance when ordering one of these replacement solenoid kits.**

**First determine which coil requires replacement. With a multimeter, verify the resistance on each coil. A good coil should measure between 30 to 50 ohms.**
