Splendide Chrome Plated Exterior Dryer Vents undergo an advanced plating process in which a layer of chrome is bonded to the molded plastic cover for years of weather-defying endurance and good looks on your coach. These redesigned vent covers feature a streamlined profile, smaller footprint and easier installation than previous models. Only two screws to install vent cover--special hidden tabs lock over the flap/insect seal.

I assumed "CHROME" meant metal ie: chrome bumper..not so..plastic with chrome paint..
