The 30 amp hardwire is permanently installed within the bay of your coach, preventing potential theft and damage from the elements. Optional Remote LCD Display conveniently and remotely monitors RV electrical power.
Additional model 35530 features include:
- Automatic reset on power restoration.
- Multi-mode surge suppression
Automatically shuts off the power when the following is present:
- Open ground
- Open neutral
- Low (<102V) and High (>132V) Voltage
- Miswired pedestal
- Reverse polarity
Caution indicator light indicates:
- Elevated ground voltage
- Surge failure indication
- 128 second reset delay protects A/C compressor
- 2450 Joules of power surge protection
- Easy installation

The TRC Surge Guard arrived well packaged and with easy to understand directions. TRC recommends the unit be installed by a licensed electrician, but I feel a handyman comfortable with basic knowledge of electrical wiring will have no problems.
The unit is well constructed and easy to mount. My only complaint would be the buzz of the solenoid when energized. Hopefully, as the book suggests, this should get quieter as times pasts.
I would buy this product again.
