Customer Reviews
I made a template of the mounting holes since it was going to be suspended in the bay (hanging from the upper bay) and pre-drilled the mounts. I also bought a switch which turned out to be extra since it came with one already (but didn't say anything in the description).
The only change I made is to take a piece of 1/2" conduit that I had laying around and put it on the front cross bar that would be in the front. Why I did this? To allow the cord not to rub on the hex bar that is there. The conduit is smaller than the inside dimension of the side plates (where the hex bar mounts). Took off the hex bar, slid on the conduit, now I have a roller that allows a little more freedom in winding up the cord.
This works like a champ. Installed in a 2013 Jayco Seneca (someone either removed the one that came with it or it never had it) - it was pre-wired in the bay behind the back decorative wall in the back of the bay.
Hope this helps any one thinking about using this. I love mine.
