Received these quality mirrors quickly, easy to install but lacking directions. Priced low for the quality. Satisfied with the purchase.
Arrived in a timely manner, easy install, very similar to the original equipment. The original was motorized, and I definitely need that for parking on side of house. All in all a well made product, good value.
I have a 1990 Mallard that had RAMCO mirrors that were worn out and would not hold a position. My old mirrors were electric adjustable whereas these are not. Great replacement and since they are have improved their design my mirrors do not lose their position so no need for electric mirrors. Best price I could find with a great value.
Yes, the mirrors are good for the money. I would have liked to see the ball & socket assembly to be constructed a little better. I do have a concern about the finish. If they were not painted at the factory, I would be wondering how they will hold up in the Arizona sun after a few years. Out here, ABS plastic will dull & get brittle. My intension is to paint them before they're installed. The mirror size is good & the convex is very helpful. All in all a good product for the money. I had no problems with my order, & it arrived in a timely fashion. I'm sure I'll be purchasing more items from Dyer R.V., as they have good prices & a lot of products.
Put these on a 1984 Airstream Motorhome. They are a great upgrade over the original mirrors. Good quality and the field of view is impressive compared to what I had. No complaints or issues!
We have a 1995 Class A that came with a pair of plain single pane mirrors and then had the typical 3 inch convex puck stuck to them. They really failed in giving any good information on who was hiding in your blind spots and this upgrade to a larger dual panel mirror is great. They include additional signal lights built into the arm which I have not connected but will add a measure of safety. The slightly larger pattern of 4 holes verses my old mirrors allowed me to seal 3 of the old holes and then use fresh wood to hold the new mirrors for a very solid mount and yet hide any evidence that anything was altered. Had the new mirror flange been smaller obviously it would have been a problem. These mirrors mount firmly and are solid but the individual panes are kind of easy to move and might be in need of readjustment from time to time. It would not have hurt my feelings if they were just a bit stiffer but since they are recessed in the head obviously should only muck up if touched or bumped. Likely they'll stiffen up with time. Anyway, the mirrors are big and functional so I'm loving them!
I ordered these mirrors to replace the mismatched mirrors on my '87 Winnebago. The visibility is fantastic, far better than the oem ramco on the driver's side. My order shipped promptly. The only problem was one mirror arrived cracked. Dyer's customer service promptly took care of shipping a new set of mirrors and sending a call tag for the bad set. I'll certainly order from these folks again.
