Description / Norcold Refrigerator Cooling Unit Temperature Monitor Control Kit
TMC is used to detect improper operation of the cooling unit by monitoring the surface temperature of the boiler. In the event an abnormally high temperature is detected, all heat source outputs to the cooling unit will be disabled.

This is the 3rd unit for our 2005 unit. I was able to diagnose the issue to be a faulty thermocouple, so this was a simple repair!
I have no idea how I didn't find this before, but it just popped into a list when doing one of my millions of searches on how to get a replacement Rev E recall unit without having to spend unnecessary bucks for an RV Tech.

I stumbled across this kit while trying to figure out how to replace my HTS recall unit for the 3rd time without having to fork out 600bucks to an RV tech. We really like our tech, but the fact that Norcold requires it to receive the unit free, really chaos my hide! Anyhow, this unit is super simple to install using the included instructions. My fridge is back to working order. My old unit did not have the moisture cover which is why I believe it failed. This one has the cover...yippeee!

Norcold Temperature Control Kit

An overnite Lighting Storm resulted in my Norcold refrigerator / freezer unit being dark and lifeless. A google search steered me to the Overtemp safety switch mounted on the rear of the unit. Red Light indicated that the switch was tripped. Attempted to reset w/ magnet and would not reset no way no how. Found best price and kit description at Dyers RV Parts & Accessories. Just what I needed! Works great! Thanks!
