Rather pricey for what you get. Be prepared to do some customization
Review byHap E. Camper
This battery box was purchased to upgrade my solar electrical power system to accommodate a deep cycle marine battery. The box is made of durable grade plastics that should last. There are two problem areas. The first problem is the vent hose supplied was too short. It barely reached the long end of the box. As this was a retrofit project and there was no option to relocate the box I had to go elsewhere to purchases a longer hose. The second problem is there is no positive way to close/seal the box, i.e. screws, clamps, whatever. I had to purchases lashings from my local hardware store to secure the lid as best as it would. Just placing the lid on the bottom of the box produced gaps in the seals that would not go away without the lashings. Be aware, this is not an easy out of the box installation. Be prepared to do some customization.

Be advised that the drainhole and the the vent hole are on opposite ends of the box.
Review byABuz
I couldn't tell from the pictures, but the drain hole and the vent hole are on opposite ends of the box and the box will not fit together with both holes on one end because of the way it's made. It might not matter to most, but for me it caused a problem because of where the vent pipe was installed and the drainhole was already drilled out on my Silverback RV. I made it work by using the parts for the vent screen. I drilled a new hole in the box and installed the flanged pipe that normally goes on the vent screen in it, then plugged the original hole on the box. The box quality is excellent and seals very well, just check out your RV battery location and setup closely to be sure it will work. The vent flex pipe is short so it doesn't give much room for this problem.
