Description / MORryde Rubber Pin Box
Fifth wheel owners know about that harsh, jerky, chucking action that comes from towing a fifth wheel. They also recognize that some roads will just wear you out from that jerking/chucking action. They have just come to accept it as a normal part of towing. These uncomfortable aspects of towing are the result of longitudinal and lateral forces being transmitted from the trailer to the truck. They cause that troublesome chucking action you feel, especially on Interstate highways with expansion joints. They also contribute to the harshness and jerking you feel when going over railroad tracks or roads with that washboard effect. And, these forces cause that "clunking feeling" when you come to a stop and start up again.

Purchased this to replace my old standard 1621 Lippert, well I must say the customer service was outstanding at Dyers , was shipped promptly to my home address, although the time that I was to be there didn't fit my schedule I just slipped over to the Fed Ex freight hub to pick it up myself, but yes they would have shipped to to my front door free of charge
The pin box was on a pallet so I had them unstrap it and lift into my pick up
Got home that night and removed the old pin box myself , with the pin box connected to my fifth wheel, I just unbolted the 8 or 10 bolts , raised up my camper with the hydraulic tounge Jacks and low aND behold dropped right down, piece of cake .
The new pin box doesn't come with new mounting hardware so I reused my old , beings they were all decent, although if your old hardware is rusted and stripped REPLACE IT !!
THE new pin box bolted right up and after torqueING the bolts to 140 ft lbs I was a happy camper .
Haven't really been out much using it , although just the little I was I could tell a big difference in the CHUCKING back and forth
I will update as soon as I et out this Spring
