I had a MaxxFan in my previous motorhome and loved it with 10 speeds, reverse, thermostat and run with the outside lid closed. This is the fan to have I my book and especially with this one with the rain sensing cover that closes on it's own and the remote will be great when in bed at night or while watching TV.
If you are replacing an existing unit get yourself a vibrating blade cutter to get off the old sealant in the roof and the install will be a breeze to install and then just measure the trim bezel inside, wire it up, test it put on the bezel and you're done! Enjoy!!!
I also had great service with Dyer's RV, shipped quick and arrived with no damage just as expected and exactly what I ordered.

If the price was under $200 I would rate this outstanding on all accounts. The one negative I would mention is that the unit itself secures to the roof flange with 4 screws that are installed *from the outside*. When the vent is up, anyone could steal my $300 vent fan in about 30 seconds with just a philips screw driver. Could use an additional security latch of some sort. Otherwise, design is great.

Actually I haven't installed this MaxxAir Roof Vent yet as I already have one installed except it doesn't have the remore control. The one I have installed works great except that with our travel trailer the ceiling is too high for my wife to reach the controls. The new one with the remote control should solve that problem. Otherwise I'm pleased with the quality and operation of the installed unit and expect the same capability from the new unit.
