Manchester 11.2 Gal. RV Propane Tank; ASME Permanent Mount Tank

I felt the need to update my previous review. After posting it, I had sent an email to Manchester Customer support explaining what had happened. I received an immediate response from Chris B. who apologized for my experience, and offered to ship the cap free of charge via UPS overnight. The item came next day as promised. I also received a follow-up call from Bob in customer service, who again apologized for my experience and stated that's not how they usually do business and if I needed anything further to feel free to call. Needless to say I am more than pleased with the outcome and the excellent response I received from Manchester. I would highly recommend them. Thank You Manchester.

The tank seems well built. It is now permanently mounted to the RV. Installation went smoothly and was fairly straight forward. I have three issues with the product. The product is advertised as being powder-coated, but the paint flaked off fairly easy in some spots, second is the price, it seems way over priced at $499, lastly is the customer service at Manchester (Mantank.com). I called for a replacement dust cap for the fill valve (you know, the yellow one), first few times I called I got nothing but a busy signal (RV dept), the following week, I got through to another dept, they took my information and said someone would call back, they never did! I called again two weeks later, finally got through to the RV dept, the woman on the phone told me they don't deal directly with customers, gave a part number and said I would have to buy it from my dealer!! After spending $500 on one of their products, you would think they could take the 5 min to box a plastic cap and send it to me free of charge as a courtesy! Nothing doing, so I give their customer service a 1 star! I won't be likely to purchase another product from them. Dyers on the other hand, had great customer service. They answered all my questions and were very helpful with the ordering process. Thank You Dyers!
