Nothing like the old switch

The original switch that came in my motorhome screwed to the walls and then the bezel snapped onto it, and that switch operated smooth is butter.
This new switch is held to the wall by screws that go through the bezel and the bezel is considerably smaller than the original bezel on the original switch.
Also this new switch has a very harsh feel to it compared to the original switch.
I actually had to have them replace the new switch once because the first one felt like it had a big bur in it on one side.
I was told that they only have one style of switch now for these awnings so I guess that's what I got.

Not a direct replacement.
The original switch screwed to the wall and then a bezel snapped on around it.
Also this switch has smaller terminals so I had to cut off the original terminals and connect smaller ones to the wires.
Also this switch is not smooth like the old one.
It feels like it's got burrs, I have to wiggle my finger while pushing it to get the switch to depress.
