Maybe you need a different pad

I installed this on a 30 gallon tank to keep fresh water from freezing. I heard people have a hard time getting it to stick but for me, it stuck on great after cleaning with alcohol.
After wiring it with an inline fuse, the pad got warm and has stayed warm. Unfortunately, the pad did not keep the 30 gal tank from freezing and today we have a problem. It's in the 20s here.
Also to note - Myself and Dyers staff tried to get a hold of LaSalle Bristol. After a few weeks, we still haven't been able to get a hold of them. I just wanted to know what gauge the wire was coming off the heat pad. Anyway, its 14. Thanks for nothing.
