Irvine Shade 1-1/4" Large Slow-Rise Spring

UPDATE 1/14/2025: This 1-1/4" Large Slow-Rise Spring is being discontinued by Irvine (the manufacturer). It is being replaced by the  1-1/4" Medium Slow-Rise Spring , which is considered a direct replacement per the manufacturer. Once our inventory is gone, we will not be getting anymore of these LARGE springs back in stock. 

Irvine Shade offers a total of 10 different spring sizes for the different types and sizes of roller shades they manufacture. To determine which spring you need please follow the instructions below.

1. TUBE DIAMETER: Measure the diameter of the tube your springs fits into on your roller shade.  Irvine Shade only makes 3 tube diameter sizes: 3/4" and 1" (Valu-Line Series) and 1-1/4" (Slow-Rise Series). PLEASE NOTE: Some roller shades in your RV may have different tube diameters depending on what was available when the shades were originally installed, so if you are replacing multiple springs you will need to measure each tube individually and order accordingly.
2. WIDTH OF SHADE: Measure the width of your shade from side to side. The wider the shade, the longer the spring you will need to properly accommodate your roller shade. Again, if you are replacing multiple springs, please measure each shade individually to ensure you are ordering the correct size spring.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• For ORIGINAL SLOW-RISE SHADES made between 2013 until mid-2017, the replacement springs on our website for the SLOW-RISE SERIES will not be a smooth fit. Some slight modifications must be made which entail sanding down one area on the spring assembly in one spot for the spring to fit. We do NOT recommend doing this on your own, instead please consult an experienced, professional roller shade technician BEFORE attempting to make this modification on your own. ANY MODIFICATIONS MADE TO THESE SPRINGS AND ANY SIGNS OF USE OR ATTEMPTED INSTALLATION WILL RESULT IN A DENIED RETURN.
• 'IMPORT' roller shades CANNOT be repaired. 'Import' shades are Irvine's most budget-friendly option and are sourced from China, they are often found in new RVs and trailers due to their low cost. TO IDENTIFY AN IMPORT SHADE: The maufacturer label on the rail of your shade will typically have a PO# on it, say "Made in China", and the number on the bottom of the label may say "ISDxx-xx" instead of Irvine's standard model # which is a 6-digit number.
