I bought this tank to install into an enclosed cargo trailer. Since this trailer wasn't designed to accept any tanks, an above floor tank made sense. It's sturdy and has 4 vertical supports inside the tank to support the weight of the toilet and person using it. It doesn't bounce or bend at all. The 1" lip around the tank is 1/4" thick, easy to trim if needed, and has a nice top finish to it. I built a 6" raised floor, dropped the tank in, and it's supported by the 1" lip. I used some screws through the lip to hold the tank in place. Definitely a good option for custom trailer builds.
