Description / Garnet SeeLevel II 709 Monitoring System

You want to be captain of your RV, having all of your tank readings in one location to alert you of LP gas levels, battery life and holding tank space. The Garnet SeeLevel II 709 Monitoring System is your co-captain giving you information when you simply push a button. You do not need to go out and check your propane levels or run out in the rain and check your battery charge – go to your Garnet SeeLevel II 709 and push the battery button to find out how much battery life is left. It is that easy!

It should not be rocket science for you to try to figure out the readouts of your holding tank levels. The led screen on the Garnet SeeLevel 709 system displays percentages on the easy to read 3 digit alpha numeric display. No more single points the 3 digit alpha numeric LED display is always waiting with an actual number as a percent of how full your tanks and battery are. Tanks are constantly monitored using Garnet’s proprietary external level sensing technology

Are you concerned your tank might be too small or too large to accommodate the sensors for the Garnet System? Don’t worry! Garnet sender strips are 12” long and can be trimmed if needed. The Garnet system can measure tanks up to 24” with additional sender strips (additional strips sold separately). The easy to peel back of the sender strips has a 3m adhesive that will stick on your tank and stay there giving you accurate tank readings.

The Garnet system is already used in OEM campers in the RV world and sold aftermarket to RVers who want to upgrade or install a monitoring system. Here are some recommendations from our customers who love this product.

“Finally a tank level gauge that reads right every time. Easy install, easy set up. Wish I had this sooner. Would buy this level gauge without a doubt again.” Mstrmech2

“It was an easy install and sure seems to be very accurate. It’s nice to know with confidence that you still have room for one more shower or the black tank isn't going to overflow.” Exxis

At Dyers we strive to have the most accurate up to date information from the manufacturer about the products we carry. Garnet has a very detailed installation manual – You can find the user’s manual under Useful Downloads – in blue click on Installation and User's Manual.

Fantastic Unit
Review by rgrimm
New to RVing with a TT, I hated the standard tank level indicator Leds that were never accurate. My brother told me his Tiffin Alegro Bus had this SeaLevel II system. I researched it, ordered a 3 tank 709 system and installed it on my TT. I mounted 2 Displays - one outside in my TT's utility area and one inside the TT. We took a 5 day trip over Labor day and this new system worked perfectly. Wow .... I now know just what level my tanks are at. I started the trip with a 20% water/chem solution in my Black tank. The LED indcated 1/3 full. We drive 3 hours and when we got to Fort Wilderness and set up I checked the Tank levels - Black tank still indicated 20%, but the LEDs now indicated 2/3 full. Nothing was put in the Black tank, the leds (inside tank sensors) were wet from the trip and were giving false readings. This is a Great Product.

Not perfect, but about as perfect as you can get

Ingenious design that works! You can usually get spot-on measurements at either the full or empty levels of the tanks but would be lucky to get a precise reading at both ends of the spectrum. Much of this shortcoming is due to the fact that the tanks are seldom manufactured in a box-shape. Most often they are "wedges". This introduces differences in the %-full readings depending on which side of the tank the sensors are mounted on. Of course this is not the fault of the sensors, merely the reality of the situation.

One other tank peculiarity is that some black or gray water tanks have a radius bottom which forces the sensor to be placed higher on the tank which lessons the sensitivity of the measurement until the contents reach the bottom of the sensor. Again, not the fault of the sensor, only the reality of the situation.

With a series of temporary sensor placements (highly recommended), this system will perform better than any other tank monitor I have seen in 25 years. Mine are placed so they are the most accurate for the fresh water tank as it approaches empty. The black and gray water tanks sensors are placed so that they are the most accurate when they approach full. Infinitely better knowing a % full or empty rather than the antiquated idiot lights installed by most manufacturers.

Really a great product.

Good engineering idea, will not work properly with all tanks.

In my trailer (which i didn't check before ordering) the tank heights (outside) are 4 (gray water), 5 (fresh water), and 8 (black water) inches. the standard sender that came with the unit (cut to 7.5 inches) works well on the 8 inch tank, not at all on the other two. replacing the one i had with the 6 inch long model (cut to 4 inches) worked with the 5 inch tank. there is no way to make the system work with the remaining 4 inch tank. Still, having more or less accurate (at least repeatable) indicators on 2 tanks is worth the money to me after 20 years of dealing with the completely useless system that came with the trailer. Check your tank heights before ordering. Getting information from garnet is rapid and accurate.
