It has been installed about a week. It already is flashing a red code and stopped heating. I followed the instructions on registering the warranty when I got it and got to a web page that no longer works. I contacted the company and was gave a lot of nonsense lip service. Dyers told me when I purchased it, that if it has problems, I would have to work it through the manufacturer warranty. (they know it has no warranty) I asked, because of all the bad reviews on this junk fireplace. Rv manufacturers use the cheapest products available, they probably on pay $50 a piece for this junk. But when you need to replace it, and don't want to redesign the hole, they want $350 and up to replace it. The warranty is non existent, unless you pay big buck and let a Rv dealer install it. We'll at least it makes pretty flames for now. If you want to pay an extra $100 and buy it from amazon instead of dyers, they will take it back, but you going to do, keeping exchanging it until you get lucky and get one that works. You probably better off putting trim around the hole and replacing it with a better make one at half the cost.
