Had my trailer in central Texas in the fall when it started to get cold, it seems that mice try to find a place to get warm and food. I placed one in each wheel well and around the stabilizer jacks and inside the cabinets also in the power cable entry. They seem to work but your clothes will smell funny if you put them inside your clothes cabinets till after you air out the clothes before wearing. I tried moth balls which work but after reviews found out they are not safe to inhale so do not use them anymore. Brown field mice are a big problem in the fall and winter especially if you set up camp in a grassy area. I caught three with a trap under kitchen sink, guess they were looking for water and food.Also if you leave your trailer for more than a couple days you may return and find mice best to keep trailer occupied with someone while you are gone because the noise from people walking around will help keep them away the sound devices placed under trailer work too especial while you are sleeping and there is no noise. I have heard that these little critters will destroy the plastic Pex Pipe plumbing inside a trailer they chew through it looking for water that tends to give someone nightmares.
