FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump System
Dumping your RV waste tanks is the slowest, messiest job in the RV world, but not anymore! The FloJet portable RV Waste Pump System chomps down the waste in your holding tanks to garden hose size at 25 gallons per minute. Macerators are one of the greatest parts invented for RVers. The FloJet Portable Waste Pump breaks up all the waste in your grey and black water tanks to 1/8 of an inch making dumping quick and easy. Simply clip on the FloJet Macerator to your waste valve assemble with the convenient bayonet hooks, the FloJet is faster and easier than the old stinky slinking emptying a 40 gallon holding tank in less than 5 minutes!
Have you searched the RVers travel guide trying to find a dump station on the way to the next campsite? With the FloJet Portable RV Waste Dump System you can dump your tank into your toilet at home or sewer drain, no more stops at expensive dump stations before you reach the house after your trip!
The FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump macerator has two attachment nozzles, one for a standard garden hose to flush the system and the other for a garden hose to dump the system. You do not need to buy costly sewer hoses made for RV’s, a standard ¾” garden hose from the local hardware store is all you need.
You want to keep your distance from the macerator as it works its magic? There is a remote start that comes with 6’ of lead wire so you can remotely activate your FloJet Waste Pump. A Handy, rugged and portable storage case protects the system and all its components; macerator, remote control and power cord when it is not in use.
Are you worried about powering the FloJet Macerator System? Check out these fun facts from the people at FloJet about supplying power to the FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump System
When installing the pump it is recommended that when using a power source that is 1-10' away you use 12 AWG wire. When using power at a distance of 10-20' you should use 10 AWG wire. Remember the normal properties of wire when installing your pump, the longer the distance, the bigger the wire should be the rule of thumb to follow. It is also recommended that a 20amp Fuse/Breaker be used. Many customers make their own power extension line out of 10 GA marine grade wire or similar and a 20 amp fuse. Alligator clips attached to the ends allows the power to be drawn from chassis, house or toad battery. Many customers find this to be the most simple solution for drawing power to the macerator pump and also keeps it truly portable as there is nothing hardwired. If your generator is near the waste compartment the 12 volt starter cable may be a substitute for the 12 gauge wire and a convenient source of power for use with jumpers and a more permanent hookup.

This was a good solution for emptying the waste from my RPOD trailer holding tanks into the septic clean out of my daughter's house when I am parked there . I bought a 100 foot 3/4 inch garden hose which just reached on level ground. Wiring instructions were clear and easy. I rigged up an extension from my battery using Anderson connectors and alligator clips but I will also make up a wire to plug into the SAE solar port on my trailer. I added enough extra clean water to fill my black tank before turning on the pump and things went very smoothly. I am very happy with the purchase. The shipping was free and fast. The pump fits tightly onto the clear extension of my waste outlet and came with plenty of wire, butt connectors, clear instructions, and an extra o-ring.
Used it for the first time a couple of days ago and it did a wonderful job on both tanks black and grey...

Used it for the first time a couple of days ago and it did a wonderful job on both tanks black and grey...I bought a 50' 3/4" hose and it drained both tanks very fast and it was easy to use, when the tanks are empty the motor changes its speed so yknow that the tanks are empty...Hope to get a lot of use out of this FloJet RV Pump...
Flo Jet is a great product. I got my first one a month ago so I could set up my camper at my son in laws. I pump 100 feet using 5/8 in hose and it works GREAT. I ordered another one Two days ago and received it today for my son in law. Dyers is great.
The macerater works like a champ! Combined with the 42 gal waste tank no RV'er should be without this set up. Best price I could find thru Dyers, they are friendly, helpful & shipped fast. Will definatly use Dyers again!
The FloJet macerator pump worked flawlessly and fast.

Thank you Dyers for delivering the pump for free and in record time. I wired it directly to the 12V control panel in our trailer (had to add about 5feet of 10G positive and negative wire) and ran it through the floor to within inches of the waste outlet. When not in use and for traveling, the connector is covered with a weather proof cover. We've only used it once so far but the pump worked flawlessly and more importantly, odor free. A clear plastic elbow at the waste outlet helps in seeing when the waste rinse water is clean and also in not letting the pump run dry. We used a 65 foot 5/8inch hose to reach the drain. Again, it worked great.
I use mine to pump from RV to portable tank (which I put in back of truck). No problem whatsoever pumping from RV up rise of hose to tank in back of truck. Then just drive ( no pulling tank) to dump station leaving tank in back of truck and lower hose to dump inlet! Makes thing so much easier, well worth the money and I might add this is a fine company to do business with!
By the time this review is read hopefully this problem will have been corrected. The problem occurred while I was attempting to twist the FloJet bayonet hooks onto my trailer's sewer outlet. Rather than seamlessly attaching to the outlet the unit's four hooks all snapped off! There I stood confounded.
Firstly Dyers delivered the product promptly, free of delivery charges, and at a very competitive price (five stars for that). I contacted them the very next day (Monday) regarding the issue. By Thursday of that week FloJet sent me the replacement part (adapter). After replacing the broken part, to my amazement, the same problem persisted. When I gently twisted the unit to the outlet the bayonet hooks were too small to secure properly. I remedied the problem by grinding down the hooks with my rotary tool to allow them to properly secure.
I have not tried the waste pump yet but, based on the excellent reviews, I'm assuming the pump will do the job right.
In our last home I made provisions to have a dump station into my septic system when we built the house. We recently moved and had no way to get close to the house with our RV or tap into our septic system directly. This waste pump allowed me to tap into a water drain pipe in our basement and with a 50' hose can reach our RV in the driveway. Were back in business with a dump station at home. We do a lot of dry camping and this is just the ticket to be able to dump when we return home. Works great.
This product came highly recommended from a friend. Great service, super fast shipping, a real pleasure doing business with a company such as Dyers! Thanks again Dyers!
Very easy to setup, works great and I have it on a 3/4 by 75' hose.I did read a review that mentioned the wiring.Yes they could add a few feet that would be nice. Even so I wired mine to the battery in the back of my class a that starts my generator.
easy to install permanently to our camper....worked great right off the bat......like the options we now have......no negatives so far.......was great to do the "BIG FLUSH" clean out after we got home--just dumped into our cleanout at home
Very fast shipping. Lowest price on the web for the flojet. We bought this as a backup because we have used our original one so often and did not want to be stuck without the ability to pump, we spend 3-6 months a year at a location where we need to pump tanks to a pipe about 75' with a rise of 6'. The flojet has been flawless in its performance for three seasons despite the fact that a domestic full timers toss in packet did not dissolve. Thought for sure the flojet would break. But it managed to pump the tank completely so we could remove it, disassEmble it and clear the plastic bag from the pump. It worked perfectly. I would not be without the flojet and I will buy from dyers again.
We purchased this pump and had it the next day...Fastest shipping ever...Pump works like a champ and if you use the fresh water hose hook-up and follow the directions that come with pump...the whole process is very neat, clean, and non-stinky...Also, when your tanks are empty...you will be able to tell by the change in pump motor sound...
This is the best system we have ever purchased for our rv....
This is a great product and the flojet allows me to empty the tanks without having to move my RVs! I can't believe how fast the FloJet arrived. I received the FloJet in my hands before I received the conformation notice sent to my email!!! Way to go Dyers

Thanks to Dyers and to FloJet for making my life a lot easier and it's not everyday when you order anything online or via a catalogue that the item is in your hands less that 24 hours after placing the order!
We prefer dry camping here in the mountains of Colorado. Free dump stations are few and far between... the dump stations closer to home are a 'fee per use' kinda thing. Before the FloJet our choices were: drive 60 miles out of our way to a free station or pay $10 - $18 (each time) for a station 'on our way'...
We now have a third option... which is going to pay for itself in short order...
We hook a 3/4" X 75' hose to the FloJet and dump into the 'floor drain' in our basement (it's the closest sanitary inlet we have available). The instructions say to use a maximum of 50' of hose... however... the run from our RV to the floor drain is approximately 30' of level followed by another 40' of downhill to the floor drain... no problems with the 'extra' 25' of hose.
On the outlet end of the discharge hose, I have made a PVC 'adapter' which goes into the floor drain... the adapter is made up of a female hose fitting, a 90 degree elbow and an 8 inch tailpiece which is secured in the floor drain.
The other nice thing about the FloJet is the clean-up... it's almost non-existent with the fresh water flush connection... We run the pump until our holding tank is empty, shut off the pump and open the fresh water tap which rinses the pump and the hose for a not-so-bad clean up...
Now for the 'bad'... the wiring connections... I have yet to run a dedicated circuit from the battery to a place close to the dump valve... and the wiring supplied is not very generous in length... for now, I use my pickup truck battery to run the FloJet... just pull the pickup next to the RV in the driveway, hook up the electric connections and 'dump'...
Our pop-up has a measley 9 gallon black water tank and we needed an easy way to dump when dry camping since we have 7 kids under 12 who can fill it in a 36 hours or less. We rigged a couple of 6 gallon portable containers to fit onto a 4' hose so with the magic black cannon and fresh water in the holding tank, in under 10 minutes we're dumped, rinsed and ready to pour into the next city-system rest stop we pass. Also fabulous for camping without hookups close-by because we don't have to fold down until we're ready to drive away. The portable containers even make dumping at home possible for those of us with cleanouts in the middle of the house and too much elevation from the trailer to the toilet.
FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump is a big problem solver

My son graduated college, but having a hard time finding work in the economy. So moving home he has moved into our 31ft Route 66 trailer. We have bought it 4 years ago, and only used it twice on short over night trips. Now I'm feeling better that its getting some use. But as you can imagine it would be such a pain to have to hook the triler up and drive it off to dump the RV wastage. This little but mighty pump has been a heaven sent, as we can now easily, safely and cleanly dump the tanks into our septic system. We ordered the portable one, and just twist the pump on the RV's dump point and attach a 3/4 inch hose to the dump port on the pump, and unscrew the sewer line plug and insert the other end of the 3/4inch hose into the sewer line, and turn on the pump, and then follow up with the gray water after the black water is finished draining, and it will all empty in about 4 minutes. Run clean water through the pump to rinse it off and out, and close all the open valves on the trailer and remove the pump and put it up. I never wired mine into the trailer, but instead went to Walmart and bought 2 battery clamps for $2.75 to attach to the ends of the pump wires, and I drive my riding lawn mower to the trailer and attach the clamps to the battery of my lawn mower, and it works fine. I store my pump under the trailer inside an old ice chest to protect the pump from the hot and cold weather, but it stays at the point where the pump is needed, with no smelly problems, and unsightly mess.
This is a Good Product, and Dyer's has the best price, and service. I ordered mine on a Sunday, and had it in hand on Wednesday of the same week,. Dyers was really quick with their getting the product to me in Texas.
This is the best solution I have found to the question of how to empty my RV's waste tanks when there are no dump stations available on our way home. It has worked flawlessly for me so far. And, because it is a FloJet product, I believe the pump will continue to do a great job for many seasons!
We do some "dry" camping now and then and this pump makes quick work of emptying our holding tanks into our septic system when we get home. It's very easy to use.
I got the pump the other day...hooked a 50' 3/4 inch hose to it and pumped out my black and gray water to our house septic system, worked like a charm........ used the 12 Volt Line from the Genny
Dryers provided excellant service, fast shipping and good price. For future RV supplies I will alway think of them first.

My Class A motorhome is an older coach and does not have an automatic waste pump. Although I have not used the Flojet portable waste pump yet it is highly reccomended and has been used in the boating industry for many years. The best feature is that it comes in a plastic for easy storage.
This is great product and I'm glad that I spent the money on it. As others have mentioned, read the directions before using the pump. It's simple to use and pumps my tanks in about 6 minutes for each tank so the 15 minutes of continuous run isn't an issue. If you're cleaning the tanks the pump has more than enough time to cool between uses while the tanks fill with fresh water. The fresh water flush valve is a nice feature which makes cleaning the tanks very easy.
I recommend running a wiring harness; it's worth the time and effort. I'm pumping about 60', with about 15' of it down a slope, and I'm using the recommended 3/4" garden hose.
I have no problem with the 3" hose BUT there are times when a dump station is not handy so this will pay off big time!

Our 1995 Class A has the dump valve down low so a permanent install is not an option. That said, having it and a dedicated 40 foot hose on board to dump into a cleanout or toilet instead of driving miles to a dump station will be priceless. I've not yet used it but have wired a dedicated circuit to the plug and anticipate no problems. The pump seems fine, solid and did run fine on a 2 second dry run. I'd suspect as long as you don't drop thick paper or other no-no items down the toilet this thing should perform just fine.
Great pump, have used 4-5 times already and has worked well. We are using a 50ft garden hose for the discharge and have not had any problems.
This was the first order with Dyers and would definitely use again and recommend. Ordered on a Saturday and was delivered that Tuesday.
While I am not much of a fan for reviews due to the fact that most retailers put up a lot of phoney reviews to try and boost sales...I have to say Dyer's is a great place to buy RV products...They seem to be able to beat all others in price...
Works as advertised and saves me from moving the 5th wheel just to dump the tanks! Now all I have to do is connect the pump to the RV connect the discharge hose and the fresh water /back fill hose. Once connected as per the instructions, empty into my septic system 35' away without moving the RV!
Excelent phone service and very fast shipping from Dyers. This is a good product that solved my problem of emptying my tanks into a sewer cleanout that was two feet above my sewer outlet. It takes a few trys to get the hang of it's operation. Read and understand the directions! Very fast operation with good results. I'll use Dyers for all my RV needs.
This is the same product that Camping World sells for way less. I am a Dyers fan! I am so glad that I've found them they are my new favorite RV supplier, with their great pricing and quick service. Their prices are better than "club" prices at Camping World and you don't have an annual fee for being their customer. Way to go guys!
This pump works as advertised, and appears to be a quality product. The price was good, with fast shipping. I recommend both this pump, and Dyersonline.
my husband has had three operations and it was hard for us to get our holding tank emptied at the campground. I was looking on line and came across this and it works great. First time we have ordered anything from Dyers but in the future I am sure we will again.
We have a travel trailer in a remote location and I am using it to pump waste into a holding tank on the back of a pickup. It is fast and grinds the waste into really small pieces. I couldn't ask for a better product for my application.
