Dometic Large 40,000 BTU LP or Natural Gas Furnace

The Dometic DFLA 40211 40,000 BTU Large Furnace is a compact, lightweight heater boasting a quiet operation thanks to reduced air turbulence. For easy and flexible installation, it may be placed vertically or horizontally and can run off of LP gas or natural gas. With the most duct configurations on the market, you can distribute heat exactly as you need it.

Dometic has gone above and beyond to provide RVer's with a furnace that rapidly heats and has maximum air flow. Dometic standouts from the crowd with their tubular pipe design heat exchanger. With smooth and rounded bends, the air flows and heats much more evenly through the pipe without getting "trapped" or slowed down in sharp corners. Not to mention, with less air turbulence, the quieter the furnace!

This model DFLA40211 replaces* the following older Atwood/Dometic furnaces:

NOTE: When replacing an older AF model with this newer DF model, you MUST replace the access door. If going from a DF model to this DF model you do not need to replace the access door.

This furnace is not available in a door-less version. If a door-less version is required, you must go with the Medium Dometic furnace with slightly less BTU's, which is the 35,000 BTU door-less furnace (Model # DFMD35121, please note the dimensions are smaller for this model and it is LP Gas ONLY).

This furnace is not available in a door-less version. If a door-less version is required, you must go with a regular Large Dometic Furnace that is 12V powered and runs off of LP gas ONLY.

*This furnace may not be a "direct" replacement. Depending on your application and what your current model furnace is, there COULD be modifications needed to replace your existing furnace with a new furnace.
