The all new Capacitive Touch (CT) Dometic Thermostats no longer have the rubber buttons that you would normally apply pressure to when making a selection.
The CT function is similar to a smartphone or a touch screen, once you place your finger upon the Up/Down Arrow or the Power/Mode symbol, the capacitive touch design senses the conductive touch from your finger and inputs your selection.
This thermostat is specifically designed for single zone applications, meaning it can only connect to one Air Conditioning/Heat Pump Unit as well as one LP Gas Furnace.
