This cooler is also considered a DUAL ZONE powered cooler. There are two compartments that are separated by a divider and each side has its' own lid. Each compartment's temperature can be controlled individually, you can either keep both sides at the same temperature or you can use one side as a freezer and the other side as a refrigerator.
