Dyers Reply:

Hi Steve, I personally have this same OTA adapter. The number of channels you can get, are highly dependent on the area you are in and the antenna you have. Unless you are camping right next to a major broadcasting area, its unlikely you will get a 120 channels. For instance, while camping in the city, I originally got 16 channels. By looking up on the internet where the towers were broadcasting from, then turning my king controls directional antenna toward that location, i was then able to get over 80 channels. While camping out in the mountains though, I am lucky to get 1 or 2 channels. There are many variables and I would recommend you do some reading on how to optimize your setup if you have not done so already. This adapter will integrate the channels you do get into the guide which is really nice.

Great device
Review by Love this item
His device is excellent. I have an antenna in my attic above my media room. I ran the coax down the wall and attached to the OTA device. Then I plugged the device into my Hopper 3. I used the menu to scan OTA stations and simple as that, I have OTA stations on my guide. I can only watch one OTA station at a time but in a stormy situation, it does its job. Also ABC is under negations with Dish so the station is unavailable to me. But it is now with this device! What's also cool is that I did not have to run the antenna coax throughout the house. The Joeys use the signals from the Hopper so all OTA stations are available on the Joeys. I can also record, pause, set up recurring recordings on OTA stations!
