Notes from the Manufacturer about the Dicor EPDM Rubber Roof Coating:
High solids acrylic elastomer coating system provides superior weather ability, UV resistance, fire retardation, elongation, flexibility, adhesion, and ease of application.

Dicor’s EPDM Roof Acrylic Coating extends the life and beauty of your rubber roof membrane by forming an excellent protective barrier with its elastomeric (elasticity and flexibility) feature. The coating provides superior resistance to harsh weather and ultraviolet light and has great fire retardation characteristics.

Dicor EPDM Roof Acrylic Coating is the second part of a two-part, commercial grade system. It must follow the application of Dicor’s Rubber Roof Cleaner/Activator that ensures effective roof preparation and “lock and key” adhesion. The roof coating contains no harmful petroleum distillates, harsh abrasives or citric ingredients that can cause irreparable harm.

Made specifically for your RV rubber roof, the conveniently packaged acrylic coating is ready to use, easy to apply and has a coverage rate of 1 gallon per 125 square feet. Two coats are required.

Application: WHITE ACRYLIC COATING must be preceded with DICOR CLEANER/ACTIVATOR to ensure proper adhesion. All cleaner/activator must be completely removed from roof prior to applying acrylic coating. All surfaces must be clean and free of residue or loose particles, degraded substrate, grease, oil, dirt, or other contaminates. Surfaces shall be completely dry and frost-free before coating. Deteriorated or damaged substrates shall be repaired or replaced. DICOR ACRYLIC COATING shall be applied in a minimum of 2 coats at a rate of 1 gallon per 125 sq. ft per coat (i.e. 8' X 30' roof takes 4 gallons). Actual gallons required will depend on the type of surface and texture, method of application, and weather conditions at the time of application. All surfaces must be uniformly coated and free from voids, pinholes, or blisters.

Preparation: Thoroughly mix the contents for a minimum of 5 minutes prior to application. DICOR ACRYLIC COATING may be applied by medium nap roller or brush. Clean equipment with water and a universal cleaner.

CAUTION: CAN CAUSE IRRITATION OF NOSE, THROAT AND LUNGS; CAN CAUSE NAUSEA AND HEADACHE. Prolonged or repeated breathing of vapor or spray mist may be harmful. Use a respirator for protection from vapor or spray mist. Avoid eye and skin contact. Do not take internally. Wash thoroughly after handling and before eating or smoking. Keep container closed when not in use.
