With the "Under Bed" mounting system, you simply remove the hitch and your truck bed is free and clear. Ready to haul and use to fit your needs! Slides utilizing rack and pinion gear technology UMS (or under bed) mounting system leaves the bed free and clear when you remove the hitch.
No locking plate required for standard pin boxes, to activate slide mechanism.
**MOR/ryde, Trailair Tri Glide, 5th Airborne Standard or Extended and Demco Glide Ride Pinboxes will require a locking plate.**

First, the customer service at Dyers is the very best!!! The manufacturer had forgotten to pack a bag of critical nuts & bolts for my installation and time was of the essence. Dyer's staff immediately contacted them and had them send out the needed package of hardware overnight and just in time!!! I was very impressed and will use Dyers again without hesitation. Thank you to the Dyers staff! With that said the hitch was a fairly easy install if you are handy and have the right tools. Having a helper is huge and a lift even better, I had no lift but it still went ok. The hitch is hefty and I have no doubt it will do the job nicely..I'll find out later today.

A bit tricky to install the undeserved mounts. Had to drill half inch holes in frame. Not for the faint hearted or shade tree mechanic. Compressor and impact gun was very handy for this job. Need to measure twice and cut once.
Hauled 10,000 toy hauler for two hours no problem. Have not used to much since tis not the season. The hitch is heavy, but I wanted a sturdy product for piece of mind, this is my first diesel truck and 5th wheel.

Asking how the system should perform

I bought the Under Bed Autoslider Highjacker and had an RV dealer do the installation. It tends to jerk my truck when I start to move coming out of a turn doing about 2mph. I am not sure if this is normal. The dealer said this was the first one that they had installed. If I am at a slight incline stopped and then take off it again tends to jerk my truck. Any suggestions??

Heavy duty, should last a long time

Put hitch to the test on an small country road intersection back-up at night. 5 ton bridge/GPS error required maneuver. Performed great. Solid no-rattle connection is a confidence builder at any highway speed. F350 Super duty and 35 foot fifth wheel trailer which will never have 18K that this hitch is capable of. Just one heavy assembly to remove even though I opt'd for the Under bed Mount System.
