Description / Demco 7000lb Trailer Disc Brake Actuator
Most commonly used on boat trailers, this disc brake actuator makes transitioning to and from a marine environment much easier.
With a 7000 lb. G.V.W.R. maximum rating, 700 lb. tongue load (limited to coupler rating), this actuator is great for smaller trailer applications that meet these requirements. It mounts on a 3" tongue with two 1/2" x 4-1/2" grade 5 bolts.
A reverse solenoid and cover is included on this actuator, the solenoid requires power from back-up lights on the tow vehicle. This actuator includes a factory installed blocking solenoid kit.
This actuator is the replacement for Demco's 6000 lb. actuator manufacturer # 8605101. This new model # 8705101 has a higher capacity, it has 3 mounting holes instead of 2 mounting holes, and the handle on the coupler is now a composite handle.
