Description / Cummins Onan Gasoline 149-2341-01 Generator Fuel Filter
Cummins is implementing a program to eliminate the secondary, redundant fuel filter on all carbureted HGJA(X) model gensets. This fuel filter is located just before the carburetor and will be replaced by a line fitting. 149-2659 is now obsolete and the part number of the replacement fitting is A029S253. No change to the primary fuel filter ahead of the pump, but it has superseded to new part number 149-2341-01. Installation of the fitting replacing the secondary filter is a one-time event. The primary 149-2341-01 fuel filter will continue to be changed at regular maintenance intervals.
Green Label Parts are tested and designed specifically for RV applications. "Will-Fit" parts and gaskets can be correct shape, but because of inadequate design, the wrong material or poor quality, they could cause premature failure, leakage or performance problems. Please refer to your Operator's Manual for specific maintenance intervals
