I've been wanting the DTP series automatic antenna for a long time now, but the price was a bit more than I could justify until recently.
I finally got fed up with having to spend an hour or so setting up my manual 1000.x dish every time we set up., Yes, I can do it, Yes I do know how, but having to tweak the settings each time was a pain. Plus, with the manual antennas, the markings on the mount were getting damaged every time I had to change them and tighten the nuts down.
With this dish, you just make sure it's fairly level, point the handle close to North, and turn on the receiver.
5 minutes or less and you have a lock.

And Dyer had the best price I could find. They beat eBay, Amazon and every other source.

Bought this to replace a badly worn awning on my RV. The carrier didn't keep the tube horizontal when shipping as indicated on shipping tube, so fabric was badly wrinkled when I received it. I unrolled it and spread it out flat in the sun for a while and that helped. My wife and I installed it in just a couple of hours after watching a video on YouTube. All went great and we now have a new awning fabric on our RV!

There was no awning rod when I purchased my RV. This one works great to pull down and roll up my awning.
