This base screws into the roof around the refrigerator vent opening. The 14 screw holes did not match the OEM Dometic base. So, each of the original holes had to be sealed. Also, the base's four holes meant to receive the cover's four screws did not quite match the covers pattern. With some very slight bending, the cover was able to screw into the base.
