Need to pay attention to product for defects.

Unhappy with quality of item. The item itself is ok, as intended, but this particular one was damaged. It has small bends in the threading, like it had been put in a vise. They were small enough to be fixed with a pocketknife, and doesn't appear to hamper the seal. Attention to detail to see if a product is defect, even one as cheap as this, would be appreciated.
