I had to use 1/2" on a majority of my RV water system as 3/8" in the color I needed was not available when I ordered. This 1/2" PEX tubing replaced most of the 3/8" PEX tubing that came off my pump. It connected flawlessly with traditional crimped PEX fittings and well as the PEX fittings that have compression nuts.

this tubing worked great. Could not figure out what the difference is between the red or the blue tubing except on said potable water.
