Slick and easy way to secure a freestanding table
Review byBuguy5940
I used this device to secure a free standing table to trailer wall when needed for added stability. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and attached the larger section to the table and the smaller piece to the wall. Works great!
I have a 1966 VW bus that I've done allot of work to. I wanted to make a table that I could move along an entire section of a wall and be able to take it off in an instant. This track worked out perfect. My bus is the only one I know of that has a table that can go in multiple sections of the bus. Perfect!
Okay, I'll admit that I might have done it wrong, but from other installations, it looks to me like the pic has the parts labeled wrong. I've seen (and mounted) the inner rail on the wall and the outer rail on the table. That way, I hook the table from the top rather than have to lift the table into the receiver.
Otherwise, the tolerances were great and the fit was very tight and sturdy.
