Description / AP Products Standard Travel Trailer Entrance Lock - Black

Designed for travel trailers, yet works well with cargo haulers, horse trailers or custom utility trailers.

Direct replacement for standard RV entry door locks.
Fits in a 2-3/4” x 3-1/4” cut out.
Features Bauer’s SCI technology* to prevent tampering with lock cylinders. Low Profile Inside Egress to prevent interference with screen door.
Corrosion Resistant Lock Cylinders based on ASTM B117-09 1000 hour Salt Fog Test.
Lightweight.
UV Resistant.
Double Sided Key.
Key Logo on paddle indicates when paddle is locked by alignment with lock cylinder key slot.

The latch set on my 2000 Hitchhiker just jammed on the outside and could not be freed-up. The latch is riveted together, wasn't worth the time and effort to try and fix. Looked through several web sites and found Dyers, there part pictures and description helped me find the exact replacement. The order came fast and in good condition, boxed and filler inside. It was the exact replacement, assembly was a piece of cake, now once again all is secure.

Good solid latch. Tight fit when screwing this together in the door. Ordered 2 for our camper, only used for 2 weeks and one of the lock's weather flaps that is suppose to move when you slide the key in is slightly annoying. Have to put the key in at an angle to move the flap. It seems to be working it's self out better with use...other than that, love the black color, works great and looks good.
