Great project installation super easy looks great we are going to buy another 1 for our back door. Arrived quickly and as expected and Nicely packaged. I'd read other on line reviews that this was difficult to install and that it may require 2 people. On a couple of our campers now we've had the bubbly privacy glass which you cannot see out but lets light in. They end up being distracting at dusk and cause glare on TVs. This product is really nice because it allows you to choose to see through or to block the light. I purchased 1 for each door and both were consistent in their quality. It's easier to install with two people. Took us less than an hour to remove the old window and install the Slim Shade. I suggest reading the instruction sheet carefully before starting. You will need a square bit to take out the old one and a Phillips to put in the new one. Use 2" masking tape to hold both the old window in place while you remove it, and the new one in place while you are screwing it in with someone pressing on the outside. One of the better upgrades I've made to my RV. Quality materials. My instillation was in a door that previously had no window. The supplied template made cutting the hole foolproof. And as always. ...reasonable price and quick service from "dyersonline". I found these window replacements after much searching for a non-obtrusive shade to both keep the light out of my RV at night and to give privacy to the bathroom . I hesitated to order these because I could not find the dimensions listed for them. I ordered them and installed them without a glitch, and I could not be happier. We will see how long they last.

I just installed these so I don't know how they will hold up over time. Initial quality seems good enough. The plastic frames make me wonder how secure the window will be against the elements. I didn't strip any screws out but I was definitely worried about it. The other reason for my 3 stars is the shade. It is pretty flimsy and upon initial install difficult to use. After it has been in the sun for a week it is easier to use however the actual shade material does not fold back up well. It's a little putzy. Overall though, I am happy with the purchase and there really isn't another option I'm aware of to be able to see out these door windows.

Not difficult to install, as long as you make sure to orient it correctly so the tab for raising and lowering faces away from the window (for some reason my first inclination waste install it backward and I had to remove and reinstall). The plastic anchors for top and bottom did flip out a couple of times when trying to secure everything in place, but it wasn't such a big deal. Taping the window to the frame and the frame to the door (all on the exterior) worked very well for holding things together, I did not feel there was much risk of the window falling out during install. Having a second set of hands would eliminate the need for that step.
The tint matched the other windows in our slide-in camper perfectly, and the shade works well as long as you raise and lower it carefully. Fit and finish are fine, as expected at the price point. The screen blocks the view from the upper few inches of the window when raised, so if that would be an issue you may be better off with a regular window and a separate shade mounted above it on the wall. I figure we'll live with this a while and see, since this is a clean install that avoids drilling holes into the wall above the window. As someone else noted, the screen door needs to be out of the way to raise and lower the shade, but that's no big deal - just need to open the door for a moment or can be done with the door closed, just a little awkward.
One last issue - we have stick-on disk-shaped alarms on our windows, which have to be placed on the inside of the window pane. With the alarm in place the shade can't be lowered all the way, however the unshaded area is at the bottom of the window, behind the solid section in the middle of the screen door, so the resulting light leak is pretty minimal. We're happy enough to trade a very small light leak (which could be further decreased without much jerry-rigging if necessary) for the added security of the alarm. Maybe in the long run the issue of view out the top of the window plus light leak at the bottom will push us toward a regular window with separate wall-mounted shade, we'll see...
The window seal seems adequate, though we have yet to test it out in rain. If it leaks, should be easy enough to seal it better with sikaflex.
Our trailer had the obscured glass & left us with no viewpoint from the door if someone was outside knocking. The change to a smoked glass which matched the rest of the window perfectly in addition to the night shade which allowed pulling up or down to our liking. Easy install, great new look!
