I have experienced leaks past my gray water shutoff valve twice now. The valve was replaced under warranty but started leaking again. This valve was a cheap fix to the problem as it cost less than the gas it would have cost me traveling to and from an authorized warranty service center. Very easy to install and the added feature of being able to rotate the valve to any position you need to be able to open and close the valve is great. This will give me extra time to eventually get the RV to a service center for warranty repairs without impairing my ability to use it in the interim or having to deal with embarrassment of dumping several cups of gray water on the ground while trying to connect my hose.

Found myself in the Florida Keys with a faulty "Black Tank" termination valve. The black tank valve was stuck partially open and could not be closed as the operating cable was defective. Ordered the Valterra 3 inch twist on valve from Dyer RV and received it in just a couple of days. Installed it in seconds and it truly saved our vacation.

Was having trouble with sewer (black) valve leaking and when I would hook up of course what little waste water that was still in the tank would leak out. This definitely prevents that and cost next to nothing.
