It's great to be able to hookup an extra tank so I don't have to drive to fill the main. I hooked up a 20 lb tank and ran the furnace,stove,fridge and water heater just fine. I didn't install the other hose for the outside grill but that's only because I like charcoal better. Cons: They could have made the hose for the extra tank longer and installation is a little work. That all probably depends on each individuals rv though.
