Description / Dometic DMR702 Replacement Door Handle - Black
The Dometic DMR702 refrigerator originally came with metal door handles (SEE LAST PICTURE, this represents the OLD STYLE handle) that were manufactured to have a different orientation for the upper and lower doors. The OLD STYLE handles were part #'s 4450007884 and 4450007883 and are no longer available.
This NEW STYLE (pictures 1 through 5) handle is made out of a high quality plastic and is a 'universal' fit for the upper freezer and lower fresh food compartment LH or RH doors. This handle will work on all DMR702 models.
If you have the OLD STYLE (SEE LAST PICTURE), you can replace just one of your handles at a time with this NEW STYLE handle or you can replace them both at the same time so they match. Using the OLD STYLE with the NEW STYLE handle will not affect the function of the handles/doors.

first of all Dyers was great- very helpful. Door handle was very cheaply made and designed. would not stay in place- had to drill holes to secure- door hold open device falls off when door in opened- actual dometic replacement part- hard to belive they would make and market such a poorly made part- unfortunatally it is only one available. No more dometic for me.

Very happy with Dyers RV’s service. The part made by Dometic is a replacement for a discontinued handle. Price is right and easy enough to install.
The replacement isn’t an improvement over the prior model. It’s the same Dometic junk just a different shape.

quality/design of handle is terrible- easy to install- snaps on-no tools required but had to drill holes and screw in place to keep it from coming off-- only opens by pressing very top of handle-- door hold open device does not stay connected- overall design cheap and poorly made-- unfortionately it is only replacement I could find- better than nothing
